Munir MAZMAN

(Founder of MEKAREP)

He founded ‘Mazman Makina’ in 1984 and worked in the workshop for 18 years. During this time, he specialized in machine manufacturing: construction cranes, industrial cranes, wood production machinery manufacturing, industrial machinery manufacturing; he also carried out technical and mechanical work on vessels arriving at the Iskenderun port in the maritime sector. Mazman Makina Company continued its activities until 1998.

In 1996, he established Ege Denizcilik Limited Company with its headquarters in Kızıltoprak (Bağdat Caddesi). Within the company, he worked on ship agency, ship brokerage, and ship chartering. This company continued its activities until 2010.

In 2012, he established Iskenderun Ship Management Company in Istanbul/Ataşehir and operated in the fields of international chartering and ship technical maintenance. After that, he established MEKAREP Company (Tuzla/ISTANBUL) to focus on his main profession and main occupation: machine manufacturing and ship maintenance and repair. Our company has professional teams (with all necessary certifications) for both ship maintenance, repair, and overhaul, as well as cargo hold cleaning and painting. Parts are manufactured in our workshop (Tuzla/Istanbul).

We currently serve various maritime companies both domestically and internationally.
